Not Me! Monday

I haven't done a Not Me Monday in a long time and Lacy thought I should do one since I NEVER do anything dumb or that I would be embarrassed about......no, not me!! The Not Me! Monday was started over at Mckmama's blog.

I did not give in to Erynn after two days of her not begging me for a snow cone maker from Walmart. I did not tell her over and over that No, I was NOT going to buy that dumb snow cone maker. And after I purchased it, I did not offer to buy the cute little snow cone cups and several flavors of the syrup. And after I didn't buy her the snow cone maker, I did not tell her to not ask for anything else until her birthday!

One day while walking outside to give Tony the hamburgers to put on the grill, I did not fall flat on my face because of the freakin' gate that was broken and all of the tin on the ground from my roof that STILL has not gotten done. I did not keep all of the burgers on the plate when they fell.....and Tony most certainly did not laugh from the other side of the fence and tell me to go around the other way. He would never do that...he would come running to help me up!! He is such a loser good husband!!

I also did not tell Ethan that until he stays out of trouble at school for not doing his homework that he could absolutely not spend the night with me.....and he most certainly did not spend the night with me that same night that I told him he couldn't. And Erick didn't stay, too, because I've told them only one kid at a time on a school night. Like I said before....I am not a pushover Nana who gives in to her grandkids every wish!! No, not me!!

I did not have a good Mother's Day because I did not get to see all of my kids and grandkids. I'm never happy to see them and while Jacob was not here, I didn't rock him until 1:30 in the morning because he sleeps so well at night!!

Here is my Not Me Monday for the week!!

I did not have a double cheeseburger and fries from McDonalds on my way to Amarillo. Why would I eat something so unhealthy when I am trying to be on a diet. Nope, not me!!

I am not getting impatient with little Jacob. He is obviously not ready to be born yet. He likes it in there. I can wait until he is born and I won't be excited to meet him!!

I did not have to herd cattle yesterday with Tony. I'm not a cattle header after all!! That's just ridiculous!! I didn't hand feed one of them some hay either!!

After not herding cattle, I did not cook fried chicken because it was 8:00 at night and it takes a long time to cook, so I didn't tell the kids to come over and eat. We did not eat at 9:00 because it is a school night and everyone needs to be in bed early.

This morning at school, I did not go to my 4th period class only to find no one there. I then didn't ask the teacher next door if it was 4th period, because I know what time it is. She did not tell me that it was indeed 5th period.......What??? I didn't say, well, where did 4th period go....it's 10:30....and she didn't tell me that no, it is not 10:30, it's 11:30 and that maybe I didn't change the clocks in my office. Well...that was ridiculous because of course I changed my clocks in my office, otherwise I wouldn't have gone to the wrong period for my class. After all....I'm not that dumb!!!!!

That's most of the things I did not do this week. No, not me!!!

No Not me Monday

I usually do a Not Me Monday on Mondays, but today I'm not going to....I'm just too stressed and depressed to do it. So if anything has happened to you or anyone you know.....I'll just admit...I did it....Yes ME!! I'm the reason for everyone's troubles!! This is ME Monday.....

Not Me! Monday

I'm absolutely not starting this on Tuesday to automatically post on Monday just in case I forget something. That is ridiculous because I NEVER forget anything!!



I certainly did not yell at the lady from the electric company on the phone because she was not cooperating with me and answering my questions. She did not tell me the same thing over and over and I did not get madder and madder. I did not tell this girl called DeeDee that I was changing electricity companies and I was putting her down as the reason!! And I most certainly did not hang up on her. I am not like that!! I am a nice person and would never yell at someone who is not doing their job like poor DeeDee!! Nope, not me!!



(Mrs. Jenschky, please do not read this part!!) I did not tell Erick just a very few answers on his paper just so we could get done with his homework. After all I'm a teacher, so I don't know how important it is for him to do his own work. I would never rush him in any way!!



I did not have 7th grade girl after 7th grade girl in my office ALL week long crying and complaining about other 7th grade girls that they get along with so well!! 7th grade girls are never mean to one another!! I did not think to myself that they should have their own school until they get out of the 7th grade and that their teachers should be prisoners or someone who is being punished....that would reform those people really fast and they would never want to have to teach 7th grade girls again!! ( I really love those girls...but some days!!!)



I did not have the worst Friday the 13th ever that carried over into the worst weekend ever.....but that's another post for another day!

Not Me! Monday

I'm not doing my not me Monday for the third week in a row. I'm not that organized or consistent, so I couldn't have done that.

I did not have a brownie two days in a row at a workshop. I have more will power than that. Had I done that, I would have used all of my WW points for the whole month!!

I did not get on to my grandkids this week for leaving all of their snack wrappers in my living room along with an apple core and who knows what else. First of all those little darlings would never mess up anything and second of all....I never let them do everything that they want.

I did not get nervous at all about having to give teacher training for the TAKS test. I know how much teachers love trainings, so why would I be nervous about it.

I did not have a good time at Lacy's baby shower and I'm not excited about her having the baby pretty soon. She also did not get lots of blue things.

That's all for me. We'll see if I can do this 4 weeks in a row!!

Not Me! Monday

I can't believe it's already Monday again. This is the second addition of my Not Me! Monday Post. MckMama started this and if you want to read more of these posts, go to her website.

Here is what I did not do this week.

I did not go out in 19 degree weather, (that we had ONE day this winter), to go to the Dollar Store to buy dog food for my grandkids' dog that I wasn't babysitting in my backyard. And I did not go outside to feed her and break her frozen water. I'm not a dog person, so why would I do that.....nope, not me!

I did not get mad when I had beans and cornbread on this one cold day we had, when Ethan said he didn't want that for supper, he wanted eggs, salad, cornbread and avocado, Tony wanted eggs with his beans, and Erick wanted a frozen tv dinner. Why would I get mad that I have to run a 24 hour diner?? Nope, not me!

I most certainly did not watch 5 hours of the Real Housewives of Orange County. That is a ridiculous show and why would I waste my time watching that.....nope, not me!!

I absolutley did not take a 2 hour nap on Sunday afternoon. Why would I do that when I know I would not be able to sleep Sunday night and have to get up early to go to school the next day. (I think we are the only school in the nation that had school today)


I also did not take Ethan and Erick to the showbarn early Friday morning to help get their pigs weighed.....that is not a grandmother's job, it's a grandfather's job. And I did not get up at 7 on a Sat. morning to go to the pig show. And I'm certainly not proud that they did well with their pigs!!!
