Date Night......
Tony and I hardly ever go out because he works all the time. So today he went to help his buddy Richard Sims at Wellington work cattle. He called me about 5 and said he was leaving the ranch and to be ready and we would go to Altus to eat. He would be home in 30 minutes. So needless to say, I was ready in 20!! I always accept offers of eating out. Anyway, he gets home and gets ready and we go to get gas. The expedition was filthy, so we needed to go and just wash the dirt off right quick. We went to the Turtle hole and there was a long line, so we try the new automatic at the Elliot's car wash. We just got the minimum because we were in a hurry. So we get in there and it puts soap all over the car and then the big arm thingy just stops....right in front of the windshield. So I'm thinking that maybe it's waiting and letting the car soak a little.....but after 15 minutes, I decide that it's broken. Luckily for us, the Elliots were there. Karen comes in the car wash stall and tells us to sit still that they are working on it. We sit still for another 15 minutes and she comes back and tells us to go around so they can re-start it. We did and they gave us the super duper wash and I must say, it's the best car wash I've ever had!! So by this time it's too late to go to Altus, but we really wanted Mexican food so we decide on El Sombrero. We drive out there and for some unknown reason...it's closed. So we try Garibaldi's...again, closed. We are really hungry by now. So we didn't want K-bob's because I had that last night. So we settle on Heather's Bobcat Den. When we get there, they couldn't change Tony's big bill, so I had to pay!! We take the food home and eat and watch the WT football game on tv. Well...this was not the perfect date, but at least I didn't have to cook!

Humor
I'm not too consistent with blogging. I think about doing it everyday, but I just never get around to doing it. And I want it to be something interesting. Telling about what I do all day is boring!! So I am just posting a funny video today. I saw this video when I was at an RTI workshop this week. I think we all feel like this at times!

Tony
Tomorrow on 9/11 is Tony's birthday. Not just any birthday, but the big 5-0!! Yes he is 50! So if you know him, which most people do, give him a hard time. He sure gave me one! But the difference is he is proud to be 50. He took off work all week because he thought he deserved it for turning 50. He took off from South Plains, however, he has been building fences all week. I wish he would say no to more fences because that makes me at the bottom of the list. I still don't have windows from the tornado because he is always doing something for someone else. I guess some day he'll quit, but I doubt it. He has always been the hardest worker I know.
Here he is with 3 of his grandkids....they call him T-pa.
Here he is posin' with Ethan and Mason at a basketball game.
This is Tony working for South Plains electric. He's worked there for almost 20 years.
Riding the golf cart with Bailey. If he's not working, then he's playing golf or hunting. He's always easy to find.
He was teaching Ethan how to ride the lawnmower. He's very patient with kids.
